Loop after loop, you slowly forget to fear death, to feel the hollowness of grief, to truly live, but not love. You never forget to love. Maybe that's what got you damned in the first place.
As if to damn you further, the circumstances of your most recent death dragged the Decepticons' best soldier with you in this time loop.
It doesn't matter what he does; you can always try again.

Summary
Rudely forced to have emotions again, Shockwave is sent into a spiral with the realization of the atrocities he’s committed. Considering himself alone (other than his obnoxious ‘pet’ Spark-Eater that he’s been trying to train) to deal with this in the age of a prosperous new Cybertron and newly granted freedom as part of Decepticon Reintegration Measures, Shockwave will have to navigate the awfulness of experiencing feelings.
Maybe he can find a way to get rid of them again. Brief flickers of happiness don’t seem worth all of this.
Is he as alone as he thinks? If he’s not, will that make things even worse?
(Story based in the universe of my other fic, however, it’s NOT necessary to read that one first to understand this fic.)

One of my new top fav transformers fics I've ever read 📚 🫂♥️ amazing post-war cybertron soft-apocalypse sort of vibe, domestic and refreshing, alongside being one of the most accurate and personable portrayals of mental health decline and recline ive read in fiction in general, considering the extent it went to focusing on the mc and their health ; an inspiring and hopeful piece <3
