Catra had come to pride herself in being a pretty fucking unflappabble person. She was married to a semi-deity, close friends with a technological genius, and was a major player on an ever expanding galactic stage. All of that painted a picture of exposure to the insane and fearsome and bizarre. None of that had prepared her for the scene laid out before her.
Fourteen guards with weapons pointed at Adora. An Adora. A teenage, 13 maybe 14 year old Adora, at the age in which she had begun wearing high collars and long sleeves but still opted for red trimming and black utility pants and boots with exterior laces that were too stiff and too heavy. A ghost of Her Adora’s past now here in the flesh with a crystalline replica of her Horde dagger pressed against their daughter’s throat.
Set in my Belles of Brightmoon AU, 10 years after canon, Etheria is on the brink of intergalactic war. Months into war preparations, tensions in the Aviva-D'riluth household reach a boiling point when Adora's excessive absences cause a conflict in which their eldest daughter, Belles releases an burst of wild sorcery, replacing Adora with a 14-year old version of herself. I fucking hate writing summaries guys.

They call my mum a warlord, and that was what she was when She-Ra fell from the sky. She came with little warning, a high pitched whistling followed by the brightness of a comet as she landed before us, the very ground bowing to make way. I had always associated She-Ra with the soft rays of dawn, the energy of a snow flurry, the warmth of a fire’s embers and taste of spring rain. But now She-Ra was a warrior, her magic a raging storm that set my veins ablaze. Blood splattered across my face.
Adora’s eldest daughter realizes her mother is, in fact, a warlord.

Summary
This is Part One of what I assume will be a 4-5 part series exploring a fairly alternate timeline of the 2018 She-Ra Princess of Power Netflix show. The majority of this story's plot points parallel with the cartoon, so my writing will not be focused on that, often skipping scenes already depicted in lieu of scenes that could have taken between episode story beats or highlighting the changes and head cannons I've made to fit this particular AU (Unless specifically requested otherwise. For example, if ya'll want to see Princess Prom, most likely you'll have to request it in the comments or something, otherwise I don't currently have plans to include a written depiction of it). Once you read the first chapter, you should get what I mean. Overall, this story will fundamentally be Adora-centric, although I will still be exploring several other characters and there will be chapters in many character's POVs. I want this to delve deeper into themes of abuse and trauma, exploring the events of the show and what I've added as they effect the cast, serving overall as a really long set of character studies. I don't have a regular update schedule, but I do try to update at least once every two weeks if not more often.

Summary
So, this fic is basically a collection of scenes set during and after Prime as Catra slowly unravels a series of secrets related to Brightmoon and Adora that culminates on a revelation of Adora's trauma. Basically me making massive canon rewrites and divergences so I can project and work out my own issues through a fictional character. The focus of this fic will just be that, and exploration of this Adora's trauma from Catra's perspective and will mostly skip over the major show's plot along with details of other characters. I'm not here to bash or minimize what Catra went through in the show, this is more about how I as a person more closely connected with Adora over Catra and crafting a story and taking liberties to explore these particular topics. I won't be super explicit but I still recommend reader's heed the tags and trigger warnings. I'm here because I need an outlet and more therapy, not to play nice. Also I thrive on comments and criticisms so if you are willing to drop some, they are much appreciated.

This is just a scene between Harry and Ron that takes place during Goblet of Fire. This is my first Ao3 post so let's see how this goes. This is my take on some in-between scenes that could've taken place during canon (although at this point I think my view of the HP canon has morphed so much it has basically taken on a life of its own). Just a friend being a friend even if they're fighting.
