It had all started in the war room. Peach, Mario, Daisy, and Toadsworth were all arguing over the best strategy to deal with Bowser and his reign of terror. How that ended with Luigi in Bowser's ballroom disguised as a Princess, he isn't exactly sure.
AKA: Luigi is tasked to spy on Bowser using the Super Crown to take the form of Princess Luigina of Brook Land. Falling in love with the Koopa King was not a part of the initial plan.

With no princess to marry the king, the economy will surely fall to ruin. The Mushroom Kingdom needs a hero. Luckily, they have not one, but two. While royal tutor Mario tracks down the beloved Princess Peach, local pauper Luigi is happy to step up and hold down the fort at home.
It's truly a miracle he fits so perfectly in her gowns.

Everyone has forgotten Luigi for about five years now as if he never existed. Living in the castle wall of the mushroom's kingdom, he has grown lonely and has lost all hope.
However, as Bowser attacks the castle like away, Luigi is taken in by Bowser Jr. Bowser Jr is heartbroken by Luigi's sorry state that he took him in and brought new life to him once more.
As Junior new toy, Luigi takes the opportunity to change a few things and break free from the cure that has caused him so much pain.

Summary
When Luigi finds a hurt and unconscious koopaling that looks suspiciously like a certain terror of the Mushroom Kingdom, he knows he has to do the right thing by taking care of the little one until he can return him home. Unfortunately, the last part is easier said than done and when chaos ensues, Luigi finds himself thrusted into the past. Now, he is surrounded by those that would become his enemies, trying to find a way back to his own time, all while trying not messing up the future. What will he do though when he finds out a different side to his brother’s sworn nemesis? What will he do when he finds a sense of family and purpose but knows he can’t stay? What will he do if he returns to how it was before all this started? Only the future awaits for those answers.
