Day 7: Soulmate AU and Weapons
"Who's that?" Dream heard Sapnap ask from the driver's seat.
"Bad, Sap, meet Goggles," Dream sighed. "World-class sniper, asshole criminal, and my soulmate. Apparently."
"What?" Dream heard his two teammates exclaim.
"You still have me on your file as codename Goggles?" George snickered. "Tell me you can't hunt down a sniper without telling me you can't hunt down a sniper," George mumbled sarcastically.
"Yeah okay," Dream rolled his eyes before loading his gun and shooting it in George's direction again.
The rules were very easy. Simply put, soulmates are not able to physically harm each other. Not fatally anyway. No punching, no hitting, no weapons as well including knives, guns, not even a baseball bat. Rules are still unclear about second-hand injuries like drowning and tripping, you know, convenient accidents.
Most of the time, this works out very well for people. You wouldn't want to fatally harm your soulmates.
But then again, most people weren't snipers whose soulmates are special agents that are out to get them.

Summary
Sam is the warden, he swore to protect everyone on the server from the monster inside the vault. But with each Quackity's visit it's harder and harder to see the lone prisoner as a monster. And Sam founds himself wondering. Is the real monster the one inside the box or the one he lets in?
George can't sleep. His dreams that once comfort him are now only painful reminders of what he had lost. And when he once again finds himself before black walls of Pandora's vault he decides to step in. He wasn't ready for what he found
Dream is hurting. He's been for months. Or at least he thinks so, he lost sense of time long ago. He can't remember the sun anymore, he can barely remember the faces of his once friends that he lost. So when George appears in his cell he brushes it of as another hallucination. But his hallucinations usually don't touch him ...
Or: Sam can no longer ignore his guilt for letting Quackity into prison, so in attempt to help Dream at least a little he lets George in. George isn't pleased with what he found

Hannah hummed, “I think you’re not alone in that.”
“What does that even mean?” George asked, poking at the sushi before him and looking at the vanilla candle in his hotel room. He didn’t remember packing it, and maybe he didn’t. Maybe it was Hannah. But he certainly did not remember taking it out of his luggage and setting it on the dresser.
“I think he might love you too.” Hannah said and George just fantasized to her about a relationship with Dream.
George could see himself loving Dream for the rest of their lives. And he wouldn’t want to love anyone else. There was no one in the world he would be able to love like this.

or, George is famous on the internet, Dream is not. Dream and George get caught leaving a bar together with intentions clear. Dream gets confused why he sees Patches on some famous dude’s twitter, and realizes he slept with someone explicitly famous. Dream may have to rethink everything, but he decides to post Patches on twitter anyway. He didn’t expect people to recognize her from George’s tweet. The internet then assumes they are together and when the two of them meetup to talk about it, they decide faking it would be fun.Series

He felt Dream’s intense gaze flicker up and down his body, hovering on the spots he had previously come in contact with; his left shoulder, center of his chest, right foot, tip of his pointer finger. The color, same as those eyes, that George now knew painted the skin beneath his clothes, stung all over again. With a sickening permanence that made George want to hurl.
“George–”
“I think you should go,” George cut him off, steeling himself and standing up straight.
“George–”
“I said go, Dream,” George’s voice rose, he didn’t want it to, but it did. He spares a look to Dream as the blond stands up too. He looks hurt. George tries not to think about it.
Or, Dream and George are soulmates and it's George's worst nightmare
