Hello!! So, this fic is the second in a series (the first being Squeeze). It was SUPPOSED to be a collection of first times, but then I decided it needed a plot and it's since turned into a multi-chapter monster. It's a story about figuring things out together, and sex, and growing up and healing and The Characters being ridiculously in love.

I had too many ideas for my holiday fic exchange, so I ended up writing two. This one is for stressedanime, I decided. (I don't think it meets your wish list requirements, but hopefully you enjoy it anyway.)
The man who enters is familiar, someone Will’s seen around campus, maybe. Most people in New Rome are at least passingly familiar. He can’t remember the guy’s name, though, and he thinks he should. Nick, maybe? Will honestly doesn’t remember much right now. Which was kind of the plan when he came in here.

Will lets out a surprised laugh. They’ve been friends for almost a year now. He liked the other boy to begin with - his sharp sense of humour and his quiet intelligence. Frankly it doesn’t hurt that Nico’s also one of the most beautiful people Will’s ever laid eyes on. But it still surprises Will how honestly sweet this kid is, under the scowl and the sarcasm and the occasionally-stupid bravery.

It’s impossible, this boy can’t be Nico, but the name falls from his lips without real conscious thought. Nico is 38 years old and probably sitting at home in their living room, hopefully having figured out how to fix the clogged dishwasher line, which is what he’d been planning on doing when Will left early this morning.
**The second halves of chapters nine & ten have adult content, but it’s all clean otherwise, and you can definitely skip those sections without missing out on the plot.**

When the subject arises for the first time, it’s late on a Thursday night not long after Nico’s eighteenth birthday, and the two are pressed together in Nico’s bed in varying states of undress.
It’s not how Will meant to broach the subject. In his defense, they’ve already been making out for a really long time and he’s not nearly as thoughtful or coherent as he was before all that started.
