Summary
Flambae hadn’t planned for his first ever meet and greet with Mecha Man to be in the very building he was incinerating to ashes. In any other scenario, he would be excited to meet *the* Mecha Man. Except now he was also actively fighting said hero, desperately trying not to be put into fucking prison.
or, what if Flambae was actually secretly (not so secretly?) a giant Mecha Man fan?

Summary
Robert offers to fight Flambae instead of just having him punch him monthly. It spirals from there into something insane and violent, as it must when unstoppable forces clash.

Summary
Mecha really should have known better than to think Toxic would leave him alone to do his work. If only he had just hidden in the supply closet like he normally does...
A thank-you fic for 3artho after they drew that wonderful 10-page comic about the ending of Not a Kidnapping. Set in their villain Robert au.

Summary
'I control the fire and the flame. And my skin does not burn.' God, he was such a fucking dick. All that talk and for what? What did it give him? It was like he was ten years old again here, sobbing, angry. Unable to control the fires around him no matter who they could hurt. No matter how much he deserved their ire instead. No, the only thing he felt confident in now was that his skin would still not burn. But God, would he have paid anything for it to do so.
Robert and Flambae are in trouble after a mission gone wrong and powers run on empty.

Summary
To the residents of Chad’s building, the relationship between Chad and Robert is nothing too strange. Chad goes to work each day while Robert tends the house. There’s really nothing concerning or suspicious about their relationship, besides the fact that Robert only seems to leave their apartment to get groceries or walk their dog.
But Chad knows the truth: their relationship is built on a lie that threatens to expose itself any second. Robert is Mecha Man, the very hero who once arrested Chad and cut off two of his fingers. Robert also has no memory of being Mecha Man, and Chad has no intention of telling him.
The last chapter is an epilogue, which is much darker than the rest of the story. It's completely optional to read as the first three chapters tie up all the actual plot points for the story.
