One thing about Garp is that he usually is not very good with words. They talk with their actions most of the time, fists when that doesn’t work out. He’s a resourceful sonnuvabitch though, and when it really comes down to it, words are no exception. The sort of man who could sneak you into the galley with only a bucket and a bit of twine, but just barged in 99% of the time anyways for convenience sake— straight through the fucking wall. It had been so long since they had really argued, not the petty squabbles they were known for, and Sengoku had pretty much forgotten how it felt. Mostly though, he’d forgotten just how good Garp could be at making them hurt.

The first time Hashirama sees the Hiraishin in action, he hardly knows what it means, let alone what it is. Tobirama tries to explain, but all Hashirama knows is that his brother is there one moment and gone the next, more elusive than the smell of petrichor during Fire Country's summer season.
