Summary
When he looks at their hands and studies the lines, it confuses him how people can supposedly tell futures with them, with these almost etched in scars. He can’t and couldn’t ever understand any of that bullshit. All he knows with these quick, highed glances, is that his hands are not equal to Frylock’s hands.
His hands have accomplished nothing. They cannot work, they can’t produce kindness or good for even a second, even if he tried, except that he won’t. His hands, palms, cracked digits, are and always will be hidden behind yellow cages until they rot away, for the best, of course.
Maybe, from time to time, they can cook the occasional dish, but it’s a genuine nothing in comparison to the man whose hands could battle God and win; Not that he would ever want to.

Summary
In the first few seconds of high school, Pest doesn’t know what to do. He’s lost, scared, alone, and most of all, is dying to be an adult already.
That’s when he meets PartyNoob-another freshman who seems to be taking everything so much better. They quickly become friends, then quickly something much more.
And now Pest is having his first love, with someone he probably won’t last long with, well, not unless he can be as mature, grown-up, and just good overall as them.
He hopes that his first love will be his only and his last, like they’re made for each other, like the movies.
But everyone knows it’s not that easy.
