he lowkey me lol (this was the first fic to make me ACTUALLY cry)
the way the whole depression thing is so well written, and the fact that he is doing this when his loved ones are still here compared to other 007n7 suicide fics really gives the impression that hes already beyond saving, he thinks dying is the best already and gave up trying to get better. and when noli stops him? he furthermore proves that he just gave up all hope on himself. i like how noli geniunely didnt want seven to get hurt.
the second part right after the comfort is kinda well placed, its like a 180 turn from comfort to hurt. you can feel and read the desperation and devestation in sevens thoughts and dialogue, and he was genuinely already struggling, so him turning to this solution was expected.
and when noli found him? it was so well written how he felt how noli knew he couldve prevented this early on. he knew seven was already struggling. yes he might have thought that sevens suicidal thoughts or urges stopped when he stopoed him from committing, but you can never be too sure.
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH PLES WRITE MORE

the fic that got me into ao3 🥹🥹peak
i have many things to say okfirst, i really like the characterisation of both elliot and 007n7. I also really love the dynamic the author made between them, and i find it really comforting. the fact that seven is so unwilling to get into ellliots life is great as you can tell he's extremely guilty for the wrong he did to him in the past. also the fact that elliot didn't forgive him right away and actually took time to develop trust and feelings is so well written.
my favourite scene HAS to be either chapter 9 or when they have the talk after the whole thing.

chap 9;
the whole thing was just an emotional rollercoaster. seven losing coolkidd again just makes him relive his fears and right after that seeing elliot die?? and the fact he thinks BOTH are his fault?? its so well written too, you can really feel the devastation in the dialogue.the talk;
i like that after the whole thing seven was probably thinking elliot just went back to hating him. it must be really sad for him because he spent so many years with that memory's elliot, thinking they were on good terms but then hes back to when elliot dislikes him. also the way he avoids elliot is so sad 😢 also the breakdown after that round?? holy shii u can feel the anger and the other feelings just all piling up on him. also the fact that the spectre KEPT elliots memories ??? omg happy ending ?? then when they made up it was so magical i think i saw a unicorn omg I LOVE PIZZABURGER SO MUCH

Summary
There were so many moments in his life that he looked back on with shame, that picking just one to label as his 'worst' seemed like an almost comical impossibility.
It was only a matter of time until it was his turn. He could only hope that, when the final knell tolled, the others would do him the decency of looking the other way.
Getting bored of the repetitive nature of the games, the Spectre employs a new trick to set its captives on edge in their free time by making the survivor's relive their worst memories in front of a captive audience.
007n7 is the latest victim, and things come to light that he would have preferred stay buried forever.

genuinely one of the best fics i have read
the fact that there was like maybe hours of tension between the other survivors and seven?? the sudden phone ring is also really well put as it still keeps the others (and the reader) on their toes. the fact that you already know whats going to happen is also adding to the story as theres just a slow buildup then everything just crashes down, and the fact that after that the whole 'argument' between them is crazy
the line "but you’d try it again in a heartbeat if you knew you’d get a different result, right?" is so deep because seven WOULD. theres hints that he would, but he just doesnt want to admit that he actually needs help, so he denies it.

i like how you can really see the difference in when seven was a teen vs after he got coolkidd. the bad grammar and the misspelled words vs the proper and formal typing style is a really nice input 🥰
also when he lost coolkidd he went back to the informal typing and tons of misspellings, which shows the speed hes typing at and like the desperation he has.
and like when he sent all the depressing texts it was near or after midnight, which shows that he gets all sad and moody near nighttime (relatable)
all in all great fic and i would read it like 67 million times 😛😛
