Many Pikmin jumped up and down as they raced over to Olimar. Their stems twitched with excitement as they surrounded him.
He desperately wished that he could understand them, but his intergalactic language database didn’t include anything similar to the Pikmin’s. It was the struggle of being the first person to document an unexplored planet, he mused.
Or, the five times Captain Olimar learned something new about the Pikmin, and the one time they learned something new about him.

A hooded figure stalled in front of him, long dark robes covering their features.
“I don’t sell attack magic,” Phil began, reciting the words he knew would make him leave too, “nor do I work as a mercenary.” It happened all too much. His art wasn’t worth it, too expensive to hang up on walls. At this point, his prices were barely breaking even, just enough to buy back enough supplies to make more, let alone enough to eat. Or, his magic wasn’t strong enough to be on capital streets, surrounded by fighters that could bend nature to their will.
“I know,” the figure replied, their voice melodious. “I wish to commission a painting.”
