Clark understands why he would struggle to express something in words. That's okay. Clark doesn't need it to be said out loud. They can show their love for each other through their actions. Bruce seems to be uncomfortable with physical affection too, but Clark is willing to wait on that too. He'll go as slow as Bruce needs to. He just didn't think it'd be this slow.
