Okay, so I’m going to make this short as possible... I used to be a writer but stopped because you know...life and everything...anyways I really wanted to write about Dani and Jamie after watching finishing the show (which I am still crying about) I am known for having a creative imagination out of nowhere so, of course, I instantly came up with the BEST story idea involved around them like seriously I couldn’t just sit on this idea but sadly I am too busy to write it like I would like to so I decided to post the idea for others to freely run with and create it in their own way with maybe some of the ideas I had for it if they would like.

Summary
Lena is dead and Kara is completely, utterly lost. This is the story of how she deals with it, finds her voice and eventually starts to heal.
This story follows the same time frame of Killing Time (the other story in this series), this time told from Kara’s perspective. It can be read alone, before or after it. Canon until about halfway through season 5.
“You just cried for two hours straight and then had a panic attack” Alex persists.
“I loved her.” Kara shrugs, as if that realization hadn’t completely demolished her.
“I know you did, I loved her too and I’m devastated by her death, but with your history... It might’ve hit you harder.” Alex gets up too and puts a hand on Kara’s back.
“No, Alex.” Kara smiles weakly at her sister, “I loved her.”Series

"Okay," Alex nodded sadly, glancing back over at Kara before extending her arm to Kelly. "We need to surround her with all things Kara for when she wakes up, we need her to know it's real. All of you—start thinking of things that will help bring her back to us."
"She's home, Alex," Kelly's smile radiated through the sorrow as Alex collapsed into her embrace. "She's home."
"Y-yeah," Alex sniffled. She knew it to be true—but it didn't feel like it. Not yet.

XStarts with my take on Kara returning from the Phantom Zone after being forced there by Lex, except she didn't reunite with her father (because I can't be bothered to explore that), so she spent the time alone (much longer here than in the show) and it's really messed with her head.
The story explores Kara's struggle with her Supergirl identity as she battles with emotional trauma, alongside her developing relationship with Lena.

Post 2x12, canon divergence: Lillian Luthor removed Metallo's unstable Kryptonite in time, preventing the DEO from finding their signal. After Supergirl found evidence that Lena Luthor was innocent, she informed the authorities but it was too late: L-Corp's CEO just vanished from the face of the Earth. Everyone assumed Lena Luthor was kidnapped by her mother.
