Jayce blinked. He looked up fully, caught off guard. “What?”
“I’ve never made one,” Viktor repeated. “A fort,” he clarified a second later. “Blanket or otherwise.”
“There were…other priorities.” Viktor’s gaze wandered around the dim, lifeless interior of the lab as he continued. “We didn’t have many blankets to spare. And then I grew up. Too quickly, maybe.” Viktor turned to Jayce fully then, and for the first time since he’d spoken, met his eyes. “I always thought it was a lovely idea, though.” His voice dropped, quiet but sure as he held his gaze. “You could make one now, if you wanted.”

When a winter storm blows through Piltover, the founders of Hextech are stuck in their lab, unable to focus on work. One aches from the cold, the other trying to keep the chill at bay. A much needed break turns into a soft conversation, and the conversation finds itself wandering through what should have been simpler times in a heartless world. “Until it’s perfect, Ekko.” Vi interrupted brusquely. “Everyone needs to be on the same page about what they’re doing, where they’re supposed to be, and what we’re after. We’re not gonna get another shot at this for months if we fail.”

OR: The kids from Zaun have a plan—find whatever Jayce Talis has been working on and steal it. The Progress Day Gala is the perfect opportunity to do so. The only issue?
