    Kiritsugu ha logrado sobrevivir a la maldición que le dio el grial gracias a la vaina Avalon. Lo que lo hace estar vivo luego del tiempo transcurrido después de la 4ta guerra por el santo grial.
    Esto lo hará participe de la siguiente guerra, desembocando en un reencuentro con su anterior Servant, Artoria. No tendrán de otra más que luchar juntos una 5ta guerra del santo grial que se avecinaba. Claramente esto traerá problemas para ambos luego de lo sucedido hace diez años. Probablemente sea lo mejor encontrarse otra vez, ambos necesitan entenderse, aclarar todas las dudas y disgustos que han cargado en su corazón sobre el otro. Esto desembocará en la singular forma de como sus imperfecciones y diferencias se ordenaran para posibilitar la unión de estos dos seres distantes.
