Summary
Odysseus' childhood was quiet simple, as far as he remembers. Playing in the field, running around a castle, playing with sheep, and so on. Nothing special, just a life a prince would have.
Hermes, and most, if not all of Olympus have something very different to say.
Now, just as 10 year lasting Trojan War has finally ended, and it is time to return home, Odysseus now has to face the things, which he has long forgotten.

Summary
Zeus decides that Poseidon’s obsession with Odysseus is getting a bit out of hand. He develops what is, in his mind, a genius plan.
Odysseus and Poseidon are not as happy as the King to have their final battle interrupted. But on the plus side, handcuffing them together does basically nothing to stop them from hitting each other with a large pointy fork, no matter how much Zeus grumbles.
