Convex Serial Killer AU (+ multiple ships)
Scar believed he was unlucky. For one whole decade, he was having a hard time making it big as an author. Although his storytelling was great, no one was interested in cookie cutter fantasy stories these days.
That was until that day, when the now presently cold case was also Scar's greatest inspiration. His motivation for starting true crime stories.
He wasn't knowledgeable on murder, of course. But he believes that all the bad luck he accumulated in the past has now come as a blessing to Scar in a form of a person; his new roommate, Cub! Who is... suspiciously way too knowledgeable on murder crimes.

Every year, two tributes from each of the twelve districts are chosen to compete in the Hunger Games. Two tributes between the ages of 13 and 19 are forced to fight to the death for the entertainment of their governing body, the Arther. Two tributes from each district go in. No one every truly comes out.
With the 99th annual Hunger Games on the horizon, Grian is sure he’s safe after his 7th and final year eligible for the reaping, Grian is sure he will be chosen and he will die. Both are true and both are false.

Summary
Mumbo has been missing since the end of Season 8. When Season 10 began, Grian had begun to lose hope of ever finding Mumbo again. Even his Watcher powers couldn't find the man. Until the day a message appeared in chat, and a supposedly secret worldeater spawned into the world.
Mumbo has no memory of who he is, except that he is a worldeater, and he is supposed to destroy the server he spawned into. Worldeaters, the natural enemies of the Watchers who protect servers, had no purpose except to take nurtured and loved worlds, and destroy them. He is determined to keep everyone from finding out what he was and why he was on the server. The only problem was that everyone already knew, and they didn't let Mumbo in on the fact.
Grian doesn't know how to explain his past to Mumbo. Sure, he was a Watcher, and Mumbo was a worldeater, but they had been engaged before he'd disappeared. And now, Mumbo had no idea.
