He sat up, yawning and looked to the mirror at the other side of his quarters. Rex screamed.

Summary
Once, there was a kingdom.
It wasn’t the shining, sparkling kingdom one reads about in fantasy books. This kingdom was bruised and battered; the once imposing walls crumbling under the force of the winds smashing into them day and night. Howling winds that traversed the star-tipped mountains to launch themselves at the kingdom’s walls with a vengeance and almost supernatural strength behind them before pushing onward toward the never-ending forest behind civilisation.The ancient trees of that forest had seen the kingdom rise and would see it fall many, many years later. They were a constant, looming in the distance like a promise of worse to come. Or a threat of better days, mocking the people of the miserable, isolated kingdom. None had ever traversed its ocean-like depths, all too afraid to leave the safety of the kingdom’s crumbling walls.

This is essentially a rewrite/addition of the infamous deleted scene where Optimus confronts Ratchet for torturing a Decepticon while he was on Synth-En. I'm planning two chapters. The first is closely written to match the scene, but chapter two marks the canon divergence. :D

Summary
Hal couldn't believe that Bruce just admitted to not really having watched movies after the 80s on a channel that had over 13 million subscribers. It had to be a fluke, but the Jordan's band together to make a list of Must-See Movies in case Hal might ever run into Bruce. It was more likely than any of the kids thought.

“Bruce?” Hal dubiously asked as if questioning whether his sight betrayed him, the pep in his step immediately faltering.
“Oh, you two know each other?” Carol asked, distancing herself from the handsome billionaire.
“No, I’m afraid we don’t.” Bruce turned to Hal, and his words were a pointed warning. “After all, what would a billionaire and a test pilot have in common before now, hm?”
“Right, right. No, uh, I just mean… Bruce Wayne. Crazy to see a billionaire here.” Hal came closer to the pair, leaning closer to the man as he managed to grit out, “Why are you here?”
“Well, Mr. Jordan–”
“Hal is fine.”
“I was hoping to fund a new project for Ferris Air, and I’ve selected you as my test pilot.”
