Carlos blinks at her in confusion, eyes bleary with exhaustion. He looks a mess, but Jill supposes she does too. They’re both collapsed side by side in the backseats of the now-parked helicopter outside of the Racoon City limits, shoulders slumped, legs splayed, taking a moment to finally rest before figuring out their next move. Carlos looks down at his own lap and barks out a laugh.
