“Are you trying to get killed, Potter?” Malfoy drawls, stalking forward. Quick as a serpent himself, he reaches out and grabs the snake just below the head. It thrashes in his grip, but is no longer able to bite anyone. “This is a poisonous snake, and I doubt anyone brought a bezoar with them.”
Harry glares. He opens his mouth, and feels the beginning the snake’s language pass his lips, and this isn’t what he wants, what’s the point of insulting Malfoy if he can’t understand him –
Malfoy’s eyes widen. He slaps his hand over Harry’s mouth, “Potter, what the hell–”

But there is more than that.. there will always be more to the story than what the public is told. Really, it's not in the publics best interest to know the story around me, us, you. Unfortunately, there is a power hungry monster with charming words dead set on picking us apart with a frontal lobe incision.

Huh, I suppose that's the perfect recipe for Severitus soup.

Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

Usually an unwanted intruder was the last of Harry’s worries. He had fought through hell and high water in his twenty five years of life, he could handle a scuffle - the issue lied in the fact that this voice beyond the door belonged to Draco Malfoy, and Harry Potter was about to be caught red handed.
Or:
Harry Potter turns himself into a recluse after growing tired from the woes of fame, brewing enough polyjuice potion to go undetected for months. He figures that this truly is a plan that could have been considered perfect, if a certain blonde git didn’t seem to live in the same area and frequent the same spots in this sleepy town.. A blonde git who perpetually smells of dittany and seems to be harbouring a dark secret.
