    Summary

In one tapestry, the gods were blessed with a plethora of children and descendants. But with so many blessings, their once joy at their children turned to expectation and ambivalence. The fates were all but tangled in the abundant threads they had at their fingertips to work into their weaves.

Another much more tragic tapestry was threadbare in comparison. The Fates having little to work with. Their work thin and frayed from over worked and broken threads.

Surely no one would notice if some threads went missing from an over full basket?

    Summary

Everyone knows that the gods have numerous children. Besides being responsible for controlling aspects of the world, that's what they're known for. Demigods are a dime a dozen, and while the gods do care for their children, we all know that they are willing to send them to their deaths for 'the greater good,' or sometimes just for a chance at glory.

But what if demigods... didn't exist?

What if there was a Pantheon that couldn't have children with mortals, only producing stillborns and monsters?

Faced with the threat of It's world's timeline being destroyed due to this cosmic error, Fate itself seeks to intervene. It tears through reality and snatches away a select few demigods to gift to It's Pantheon, erasing and manipulating the memories of It's most vulnerable chosen, as well as rewinding the years on all that It takes, to help with the bonding process.

This choice leaves 9 demigods trapped in an Ancient Greece that not even they can recognize. Stranded, disoriented, and stripped of their claims, they must tread carefully, for the roaming monsters are not the only threat.

Getting transported to the past? Tricky. Getting transported to the past with old gods who are fascinated by you? Trickier. Getting transported to the middle of the Trojan War and you and your girlfriend are on different sides? Now that's just mean.

Or, Annabeth and Percy travel back to Ancient Greece during the Trojan War, but end up on opposite sides due to conniving parents and old god grudges. The gods are much more possessive than either child remember them being.

    The Athenide AU.

But the gods aren't forgiving. Grief comes in waves. In time you get over it... right?
Well, it's been centuries since the "disappearance" of the Athenide. Time doesn't heal all wounds.

Percy is not impressed. Especially not with the gods.
Since the myths say that they can be good. And loss and grief is no excuse to turn your back on people who need you. They take the "Athenide's" name and destroy its/her purpose.

This is my angsty, letting Percy be less forgiving fic.
She is the Daughter of the Father Of Monsters.
It's about damn time she acts like it.

inspired by Of the Fountain by Chaotic Dumbass Rouge. original idea and post by anotheroceaniad on Tumblr I believe.

    Everything falls apart eventually.

They bring the berries to their mouths, but no announcement is made.
That kid had been too good for her anyways.
Only one canon sounds and you look back just in time to see her retching on the ground, expelling as much of the poison as she can.
What a way to reinforce a point.

Katniss survives the Games. Peeta doesn't. Haymitch doesn't deal with the aftermath so much as observe it.
