“Link?” He seemed surprised before his smile got a bit larger. “Not usual to see people with this name anymore.”
Link scratched his cheek with an awkward chuckle. Yeah, he heard that a lot when he started university. In Ordon it was not such a biggie, but most cities in Hyrule had some weird belief that the name brought bad luck. Most boys called Link died or disappeared when children unless they became priests.
“Ah, my parents don’t believe in this kind of thing. You do good, good comes back.”
“Very wise.” Mr Skylar nodded “Personally, I do believe that coincidences are smaller ways where the gods guide our lives, so meeting you must be fate.” -

Summary
Link usually loves street parties. Focus on the 'usually', because today was far from usual.
There were many festivals across Hyrule, but few could compare to the Goddesses’ graces, a three day long street party. The last day, a huge mardi gras celebration with parades, extravagant costumes and drinks all around was one of his favorites. Again, focus on 'was', today was far from a favorite.

Summary
When he heard the hero was a recruit, Stephan imagined the hero would be one of older recruits, the ones that finished basic training. He was not expecting a boy that was probably ten years younger than himself and looking like he just turned eighteen. But Link, Captain Link, was a quiet young man, whose words were barely audible and with a fairy that often spoke in his place.

Summary
Link couldn’t see colors.
It was right after his final fight with Demise, after the curse was placed in his spirit to repeat this endless cycle of fighting and be reborn. He woke up on his bed, looking up to the ceiling and the world was all in gray. He freaked out, of course, but there was nothing wrong with his eyes (in theory). He could see just fine, from up close and to a good distance, but he didn’t see colors anymore. Zelda thought it was related to the curse, but there was no way to prove it. It was endlessly frustrating to not differentiate between what foods were ripe or not by color and it made starting the moving to the surface a bit harder, forests and caves feeling even darker and more ominous than ever, but he learned how to live with it.
There was no other option.

She spent a lot of time preparing this trip, so everything must go well. She loves her students, but sometimes they can be a bit of a handful. Fortunately, Clavia is here to help. And Link too.
Zelda just needs to keep her cool and everything will be fine.

Summary
Communities. The simplest and most organized form of life for any kind of creature, you name it: birds, mammals, aquatic organisms… And these thrive wherever food is plentiful, wherever prosperous, and wherever it's far from outsiders or even potential enemies in any sense.
This one in particular is...something rarely seen across the seas. And had a hanfull of all types of creatures you could imagine gathered in a small cave, surrounded by a tiny, but aparently welcoming new comunitty, maybe as a small twist of fate, or a mere coincidence.

Summary
Things take an awful turn for Link when he stumbles upon a mysterious piece of material. It's reflective, like a mirror, but darker than any substance he's seen before. In order to rid himself of the curse, he's told to seek out an estranged priestess; a priestess that was exiled from her temple for reasons unknown to him. Zelda, however, isn't ready to face her past, and Link's arrival is little more to her than an omen. It's not like they can perform the ritual anyway--not when the sacred spring is dried up.
