There were a lot of things about the current day which Jonah enjoyed; including the absolutely delightful ways in which technology could be used to pry and poke into every aspect of people’s lives. The sheer efficiency was really quite breathtaking.
Yet he was still occasionally prone to a sudden stab of nostalgia, for his far off - very far off - youth and the traditions which had long since vanished and been forgotten (as he, himself, was so very determined not to be).
Which sometimes led him into an unfortunate … miscalculation
