    He still remembers it.
    The sound of bones breaking.
    The ringing.
    The voices.

    Their voices.
    His voice.

    But it shouldn’t be possible. He sat in his bed, the darkness of the night making it hard to see at first. Sweat on his face- no whole body made it seem like just a bad dream.
    It was just that, wasn’t it?

    Just a bad dream.
    But why was he feeling like he was being watched? Someones, or somethings eyes on his neck. Just waiting for a moment of weakness. Waiting for Finney to let his guard down, just to snap it.

    Something that only worsens it though, is that the other boys, which he had dreamed about, seem weird, strangely different than before.

    Or, Finney wakes up in the past with memories of the basement, but is telling himself it was nothing but a bad dream. But, of course, it is not. Because what kind of person am I to just let him and the other grave-boys just forget?

    Fair warning for this fic, English isn’t my first language, so mistakes can/will happen. Secondly, some supernatural stuff will happen and will be discussed, but only in a way, that I think fits kinda in the story.

    Finney Blake wakes up on September 7th 2021, this should not be a problem. However the last thing Finney remembered was that it was the 11th of December 2021, when he walked out of The Grabbers Basement.

    (Finney Blake has been given the chance to prevent any of the kidnappings from ever happening, Finney sets out with the goal of only saving the other boys from The Grabber. But along the way he grows closer with all of them, and maybe gets his shot to say something that was left unsaid.

    Essentially the Time Travel Fix-It, modern retelling that I was in desperate need of, and hopefully others are as well.

    Update:Changes and revisions made to Chapter 13 please read.

    When asked, the majority of the people of Gotham never mention Nightwing. They say Batman, because he was the first. Red Hood, because he murders without preamble. Red Robin, because he knows too much. Most will even say Robin before they say Nightwing, because murder is still ingrained into his bones.

    But the oldest Gothamites, the ones who know Nightwing was the first Robin — the ones who saw Robin decay into Nightwing — they know.

    Nightwing has always been the most frightening.
