Summary
The universe spits you out straight onto the roof where you entered the game, and you catch yourself with your face.
--
Davesprite struggles with being the Other Dave. Bro is back from the dead, and the Strider apartment is about two times too crowded for everyone involved. Reconciliation takes time and effort, and forgiveness is a thing to be earned.

Bookmarker's Notes
Bro Strider (and Dirk in general) is a character that deserves complexity and nuance, something that very few in the HS fandom have *ever* been willing to entertain, both when he was still a target for apologia and now that he is a target for denigration. This is, I think, the only author that has ever done him justice. This goes beyond Bro Strider however: deserts exemplifies an understanding of the entire HS ensamble in a very singular way. John, Rose, Dave(sprite), Jade; Roxy and Jake, Dirk and Jane-- all the Guardians, of course: they are each at their most interesting, and most compelling right *here.* It is an enormous, multifaceted accomplishment that I am simultaniously jealous and in awe of.
Easily one of the best HS fanfics ever written, up there with TSG, House of Dirk, etc. Deserts is a devastatingly compelling writer, and has one of the best grasps of Homestuck's characters out of anyone in the fandom, modern or otherwise. There is nothing else like it, and you'd do yourself a disservice if you skipped over it. A once in a lifetime long-form character exploration.
I would fucking die for Davesprite.

I desperately want to fully edit this story because it is absolutely, astoundingly compelling, despite it's minor grammatical issues (most of which arise only because the author is ESL). Easily one of the best explorations of depressed, post-Ever After Ruby. How it delves into Pyrrha's flaws alone makes it worth the read. Also made me want to see Neo and Ruby having hateful sloppy makeouts, which is a *feat* considering how rarely I interact with crackshipping.
It's also just genuinely very fun to read! Like, I had a good time! Literally spent 12 hours one day just binging it because I couldn't get enough.

Summary
Obi-Wan narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, hoping a direct question would yield answers. The old man seemed adept at side-stepping information when asked a bit more deftly. “I’ve never heard of a Master with your level of talent.”
The old man seemed surprised. “If you’ve never heard of one like me, then what good would my name be? You wouldn’t know it.”
Obi-Wan felt a flare of irritation, and quickly squashed it. The old man blinked, as if he hadn’t expected to feel that, and he smiled, sadly. “My name is Luke,” he said, as if a peace offering.
The force trilled in his ear, and Obi-Wan frowned. "Luke what?" He asked, and the old man, this Luke, smiled wryly.
"Luke Skywalker.”

A Theory of Butterflies and Other Insects by CalamityUnlocked

Summary
The smallest change might ripple the world with unforeseen consequences. The flap of a butterfly's wings might cause a tornado. The love and affection a person does or does not receive might transform them for the better – or for the worse.
Three girls each land in a place meant for another. The script is flipped, the story changed. Most players settle comfortably and ignorantly into their new roles, while others scramble to fulfill a destiny not meant for them.
An ancient prophecy was inaccurate.
Pieces fell into the wrong place.
What follows can only be described as calamity.

Alas, this will likely never be fully finished, but such is the way for a good deal of Amphibia fanfic. Still, a great read that is absolutely worth the investment.

Summary
When Yang falls, it's quiet. Calm. She did what she had to do and gods, if the others are okay, that's all that matters.
When Ruby and Blake fall, it's a jolt. A cold shock of horror that they didn't quite make it, a splash like the bright green fizz of Penny's Maiden flames.
When Weiss falls, it’s almost with relief. Living or dead, she'll see them again, and it’s almost worth the guilt of seeing Winter's tearstained face as she reaches and doesn't make it.
When Jaune falls, he thinks of his team, he thinks of one more letter knocked off of Team JNPR and of the blood on Crocea Mors' broken blade. He thinks of how he failed them all, and how they all failed each other.
When they wake up, they're at Beacon.

Bookmarker's Notes
It's so long that it is intimidating to jump back into, but so very, very worth it. Time-travel fix-it is my favorite trope, and few stories (definitely in the RWBY fandom) do it better than this.
