“They’re just lyrics, there’s no real intent behind it.” Fauna wraps her hands around Gigi’s wrist, guiding the gremlin’s condensation-riddled glass to her lips. The kirin takes a demure sip, leaving a sticky print of lipgloss behind.
Gigi watches Fauna’s throat bob as the drink slips down her throat, feeling her own run dry. “I, uh, bet I could. Get you to cuss. With, um. Intent,” she babbles, choppy and embarrassing.
“There’s nothing you can do that would make me curse.”
And, well, Gigi loves a challenge.
