There is a god-killer that watches over Amphoreus, though the blood of a god has yet to stain and corrode his hands.
He lives and walks among her people, interacting with them through a myriad of means in the name of fun, protection, and work, only turning away from them when someone turns their greedy or hungry eyes toward the planet.
And when those eyes turn away from precious life finally realized and actualized—eyes that belong to the head of a being that has no head—technology fails and advancement falls back.
It is only the arms of another that spare those unwanted gazes from the wrath of Destruction. Saves them from the deliverance of technological destruction the likes unseen by history.
