Summary

A weight settles on top of him. He looks up, watching as Abraxas kneels down astride him. He presses his wand to Tom’s sternum— his tie comes undone, the top buttons of his shirt spring open. Something cold settles in Tom’s chest. “Abraxas.”
“I don’t hate you, Tom.” Abraxas’ voice has gone softer, calmer. That’s much worse. Someone riled up and angry and stupid is someone Tom can get the upper hand on. But someone calm and collected? Far more dangerous. “Really– I quite like you, actually, despite it all. I just think you need to be put in your place.”
Shortly after the end of Tom Riddle's seventh year, the slip of a potion into his drink brings his plans for the future crashing out from under him.
