A 5 años del torneo de Cell, aparece Paragus para manipular a Vegeta a acompañarlo al supuesto nuevo planeta Vegeta, a esto se unen Mirai Trunks, Piccolo y Gohan. Ahí conocen a Broly, quien es controlado por su padre para acabar con Vegeta.
Cuando los otros 3 intervienen, son derrotados y Broly toma un interes especial en Gohan.

Summary
Videl ends up stranded with her best friends on a school trip into space gone wrong, by error of some cosmic entity not interested in helping them. They run across another cosmic entity- this one a boy who looks just like them, but to which everything about their lives on Earth seems foreign. He decides to help them back to their home, and she decides to help him back to his family - but things are more complicated than they seem. Can they reunite him with a father he's convinced is dead and a family he thinks he can't have, before he dies fighting a battle they can't understand?
Or: Gohan, having been fighting for years in space holding onto scraps of intimacy with his best friend and a certain time traveler he may be in love with, and his family, who are on his missing persons case.
Gohan is at peace with dying (or so he thinks). His friends refuse to accept this reality. Videl won't let someone die without even getting a chance. Lime won't let her friend disappear without a fight. The universe conspires against them. Goku won't lose his son for a second time.

The universe-hopping trio must now use their power, wits, and skills to survive. Hell is always on their heels, but strangely enough, they find refuge among the not-so-extinct Saiyans. Much to Gohan's distress, and Bulma's delight, he is catapulted to the top of Saiyan society - a society which he views as barbaric and destructive. Through a series of (mis)adventures, explosive battles, and political schemes galore the trio may just find their place in this universe.
