And years of practicing her blank face made Celine think she understood body language.But she can't understand why Celine doesn't want her to show her patterns to Mimi and ZoZo. Celine said to trust them, and that's what trust is.

The words barely have time to register before her mouth opens. “What leash- PATHETIC?! Who do you think you’re talking to?” Rumi can only react now, voice rising and face flushing. Fuck, Celine is going to be mad.
“A dog. So well trained too,” Mira coos but it sounds venomous. “The great Ryu Rumi, just a pet right?”
Smaller fists clench. This girl was a head and a half taller but that didn’t matter. She didn’t train like the world was ending. She didn’t run drills until her legs gave way or her knuckles split. And, right now, she would look so much better with a broken nose.
