Summary
As footsteps reverberate throughout the walls of the shop, their head peeks upwards, now placing themselves into view. They’re trying their hardest to throw on a smile, in response to Susie’s sudden appearance – but, with their mouth stuffed full of sandwich, they find that it looks a little more like a half-hearted grimace.
She, though, doesn’t seem to think much of it. A classic, toothy grin frames her face, and she nods her head up and down as she does a quick one-over of Kris. “That apron makes you look like a loser.”
Kris scoffs. They choose not to take the insult to heart, and instead indulge in another bite of their sandwich as they retort her statement with a muffled reply, “Good morning to you, too.”
Susie pays Kris a visit at their part time job, trying to find a solution to her boredom. They don't expect that she'll leave them with a gift.

Summary
Ralsei wakes up for the first time in a world where things have shifted irrevocably. Words have already been said that can no longer be taken back. Actions have been taken that made everyone's hope for nothing. Echoes of memories haunt around every corner. The rules of this world have been twisted and mangled. Ralsei knows he should not be waking up in the Light World, and yet every time he does, he hopes that he will awaken back in that empty room in the darkness.
Something is missing, and without it, Ralsei refuses to believe that the world will keep moving forward. After all, he knows of the Angel's ability now. All he has to do is wait it out, and then things will go back to normal. Time begins to drag on, and Ralsei starts remembering everything that led to this day. His chest aches, but surely this cannot go on for much longer, right?
