Kade M. Sheridan Jr. (The Third) was a pretentious, impulsive, and one hell of a shady individual who happened to be the CEO of the second largest company in America. The tech industry was booming with the thrill that the end of the 20th century wasn’t really the end of humanity. The 2000’s were a hallmark for change. With the first quarter coming to a close it was time for SherTech to push past second place and set it self as the largest tech company in America. However, Kade’s long term enemy and competitor, Li G. Ma, CEO of M.I.L.K Technologies has been on defense ever since the end of last quarter, 1999. There was something about Kade that made Li bristle with something he hadn’t known could exist within him. Li was the most powerful CEO in America. Nothing scared him.
Except for Kade.

Summary
You live your ordinary life: work — home, home — work. Nothing unusual, everything just like everyone else, and it never crosses your mind that one day you’ll find yourself in a world you’ve only seen in anime. Of course, such thoughts might flicker in your dreams, but certainly not in real life. Whether I’m lucky or not, I’m about to find out. For now, unfortunately, I lean toward the latter. After all, I’m a patrol officer who, as it turns out, decided to serve in Impel Down. And frankly, that’s a terrifying realization.

Marco has never really talked about his past before– not how he met Whitebeard or how he learned to use his powers. It's just not something that's ever come up, and he was fine with whatever people speculated on their own time.
Until he nearly crash landed straight into Whitebeard in front of everyone, and the man caught him in a clearly practiced and ingrained maneuver that rose some questions.
