Summary
Wei Ying wakes up in the hospital, recovering from a head injury. His last memory is of being a 20 year old college junior. He is told that 16 years has passed. That these unfamiliar people sitting in his hospital room are his family now. That the family he grew up with are long cut out of his life. He has trouble believing that any of this could be true. That he would marry a man when he is straight. That he would ever walk out on the Jiangs.
Until Wei Ying can reconcile the past, he can’t accept the present. He can’t move forward until he’s reached out to the people that he loves. These strangers who claim to love him will just have to wait.

Summary
Wei Ying believes in fate and fairy tales. A lonely hopeless romantic, he loses himself in fantasies of a man who comes into his workplace every morning. But after a series of events leaves the man in a coma and Wei Ying as the hero who saved him, a miscommunication leads the man’s family to think Wei Ying is his unknown, brand-new fiancé.
Wei Ying means to clear up the miscommunication—until he meets the man’s brother and decides to stick around for just a little while longer.
To be fair, Wei Ying didn’t expect to fall for a beautiful stranger—and Lan Zhan certainly didn’t expect to fall for his brother’s fiancé.

Summary
Jiang Wanyin’s face slowly takes on a kind of horrified expression that Lan Wangji would find funny if it wasn’t for the fact of the actual situation. He’s clearly noticing all the same things Lan Wangji did that first time: the same slope of nose, the light in the eyes, the messy mop of hair. Jiang Wanyin, after all, was far better acquainted with Wei Ying around this age than Lan Wangji was.

Summary
The reflection staring Wei Wuxian in the mirror was Lan Zhan’s. He’d woken up in Lan Zhan’s room, in Lan Zhan’s clothes, in Lan Zhan’s bed. There was only one conclusion he could come to.
He was in Lan Zhan’s body.
Wei Wuxian didn’t know if screaming was necessarily the best action to choose, but it was the only thing he could really think to do.
Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian never expected to walk a mile in each other’s shoes, but it seemed like fate wasn’t giving them a choice.

Summary
For the record, Wei Wuxian has always been an idiot when it comes to love. He can’t believe he wouldn’t have realized his feelings towards Lan Wangji until there is a threat that could take the latter away from him: a rival.
“I wish to ask for your nephew’s hand for marriage.”
Wei Wuxian couldn’t help his mouth, smirking, he whispers behind Lan Xichen, “How about it, Zewu-Jun? Is Young Master Gen up to your liking?”
“Lan Wangji, Hanguang-Jun, Second Jade of Lan, I wish to declare my intentions on courting you,” Gen Lei adds, standing up and bowing lowly – tone shaking but sincere, his cheeks and ears flushed.

Summary
“Cool water boils the fastest, Lan Zhan,” his brother adds, cryptic and abstruse, because he has always had a penchant for speaking in a way that is utterly confusing to Lan Zhan. He says it like a reminder, like Lan Zhan should already know that.
“I am not cool water, Lan Xichen.”
“No, you are not. You have been boiling for quite a while now,” his brother says, and what is Lan Zhan supposed to say to that? He has never been very skilled at following along his brother’s convoluted words and connotational analogies that never make any sense. Except when Wei Ying returns with some sweet dough on a stick, holding it to his mouth and grinning at him brightly, easily, unworriedly, he does feel like he’s boiling. From the inside, right beneath his sternum, like a wildfire pressing against his ribcage.
or: Lan Zhan does not have much of an opinion of Wei Wuxian when he is informed of the betrothal proposal. That changes rapidly. It goes a little like this:

Summary
At home, Lan Wangji steels himself before taking off his shirt to investigate the problem on his arm. He isn’t sure which will be worse— to peel away his sleeve and find something horrific, or find nothing at all out of the ordinary.
Still, the only way to know is to take action, so he shoves his anxious uncertainty down into his golden core to burn away into nothing and unbuttons his shirt. Out come the cuff links, set gently back into their case. Finally, he tugs his arms out of their sleeves and, not yet looking at his arm, puts the shirt into its appropriate color-sorted laundry bin.
At last, he lets his gaze move to the back of his left forearm. His breath catches in his throat. The fingers of his right hand move, shaking just slightly, to skim at the half inch spot about halfway between his elbow and wrist.
Hard to the touch, there is a patch of cool white stone on his skin. More accurately, perhaps, there is a patch of his skin that has transmutated into, if he had to hazard a guess, white jade.

Summary
....wait, the Yiling Patriarch, nefarious demonic grandmaster Wei Wuxian, became a cutsleeve concubine? That doesn't sound right!
(The saga continues! Featuring: Greater chaos. The Dancing Goddess Temple. Ghosts. Fierce corpses. Wei Wuxian wishing that the matters of the heart weren't so damn complicated, whether it be knotted threads from the past or quiet sparks of something new. And naughty children. Lots and lots of naughty children.)
This work is a WIP and will update VERY VERY sporadically, feel free to wait until it's finished before reading.
