He keeps them close to his heart, as they are all who he can trust, but there are others that attempt to get close to the heart he has. Others that want to make it stop beating.
Harry won't allow it. Neither will those he trusts, though he does not ask them to do this for him. They do it without having to be asked, and that's the best trust he could ever need.

or; what the fuck is that summary? Anyway, the SIXTH installation of my Harry Potter rewrite with the core four as Marauders parallels (that went out the window a while ago, lol) and now they're their own people. Don't we love them for it?
