Summary
Mary Poppins always acted on the philosophy that saving a single household is the true way to save the world at large. Jane Banks cannot end slavery, but she can stand up for slaves. Michael Banks cannot end poverty but he can save his own family. And Jack? Jack may not own his own self...but he can own his own light. That is, if those intent on putting out that light don't have their way.
Or...a Jack centric story in a dystopian version of London where slavery exists and Jack is owned by the City.
