Izuku has had a pretty rough week or so, but it's over now, and so he comes home, shattered, glad that Shouta is due back home tomorrow from his mission.He wakes up to find Shouta home early, and it's a blessing, really, to be able to revel in each other once more, to check for injuries and strains and struggles, and to bring each other joy regardless.

"I'm alright," Shouta assures, more for Izuku's sake than his own. And the detective understands that, is grateful for it, yet can't help his still-there worry all the same (how his brain is busy racing through all of the possible complications of broken ribs, of displacement and poor healing and how organs can be ruptured or squashed, of how things could have gone so wrong-).
"I know, but still," he ends up murmuring, because he knows that Shouta is here and okay, can feel it, but, well. It's just going to take a while for his mind to leave him alone.From the looks of things, however, he isn't the only one concerned.
"And what about you, Izuku? Don't think I don't notice those eyebags."

Summary
When quirks started appearing, so did soulmates. If a child is in an unhealthy situation, if they need a guardian, someone to take care of them, they will get assigned a soulmate. Someone older than them, starts feeling the pain they feel, anything physical from the scrape of a knee to the most excruciating things, the soul-guardian shares.
