"Darn it, Jay!" He snapped, smacking the wheel with his palms and glaring out the windshield. Jason flinched and looked away. "What were you thinking?"
"I wasn't!" Jason replied, anger bubbling up, a tiny slur in his words. He was still sober enough to think, but one more beer would have handled that. "Because of me, hundreds are gone! I failed, Dick!"
"So did I." Dick shot back angrily. "But I'm not out getting wasted!"
