There are many things that can be forgotten, both big and small. Omori helps Sunny remember.
Sunny opens his eyes. Above him looms a familiar paper white face framed with dark graphite hair. Omori is crouching over him, their arms wrapped around their knees. They’re staring down at him.
The thin rug Sunny lays on is soft. He might have enjoyed it if Omori’s socks were not poking the top of his head. Or if he did not know what it meant to be in WHITE SPACE.

“Alright then, Scar, let's dance.” Rover’s hand goes to his hip to unsheathe his sword.
Scar pauses. He places his chin on his hand in a thoughtful manner and watches Rover with a piercing stare before seemingly deciding on something. “What if I took you up on that offer?”
“What?”
The phrase "Lets dance" holds meanings of both flight and fleeting movement, which Rover unfortunately, or fortunately finds out. If it keeps his kidnapped companion safe, then he will do what he has to.

Pure Vanilla is let go from the waist and he sucks in a breath of air. He opens his eyes and stares down the edge of the Spire of Deceit.
Do it.
Fall. Fall. Fall. The words chant in his head, thoughts overcome by confusion, disorientation, desperation. There is a scuffle of dough, a crowd behind his every move. A jester. Grinning. Waiting. Watching. Patiently.
He plummets.

When Percy was knocked out on Polyphemus' Island while trying to save his friends, he had no idea that waking up in ancient Greece was an outcome he had to prepare for.
But here he was, sailing across an unknown sea with a very well known ancient hero, reenacting the Odyssey (of which he knew far to little) and trying not to die. Fun times.
Meeting the gods (who were wilder, younger and way more vengeful) while attempting to not mess up the future was just the top of the metaphorical iceberg.The only good thing? Dreaming about a rather cute boy who always made him smile...
