“Take my blood, then,” he offers, like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
Cellbit can feel his teeth press against his lower lip, the fangs coming in. Roier’s smell is overwhelming, saccharine sweet. Just the thought of getting to taste him makes Cellbit feel like he’s about to lose control. He thanks the gods above he’s too weak to move, otherwise he would have Roier pinned beneath him already.
“You don’t understand what you’re offering,” Cellbit hisses.
“You’re in pain. I don’t wanna see you suffer.”
Roier looks at him like a kicked puppy. He’s got exactly what Cellbit needs, offers it on his own volition, and still, Cellbit hesitates. He can’t recall the last time he fed on a human, much less a human he deeply cared about.
“Please,” Roier says, pulling up the sleeve of his sweater, “Let me help you.”
And that sliver of bare skin is enough to make Cellbit blackout.

Or: After being injured by the Federation, Cellbit needs human blood to heal his wounds. Roier volunteers to help his friend, but neither of them could have expected the consequences: a soul-bond that will put their feelings for each other to the test.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Summary
Growing up is hard, no matter which way you look at it. Tweek's got his demons and Craig has his monsters, which of them wear human skin and which don't is irrelevant. They never asked for a solution, all either of them wanted was a friend.
Somewhere along the way through, it became less about just fighting the past and more about untangling the future. Neither of them knows how they got to where they are now, but when you think back to how it all started, all the forgotten moments and buried emotions, you'll find they really should have seen this coming.

After a while, the boy looked up at Grian, “Why are you guys- Why are you so fuckin’ nice? I’ve been here for like half an hour, and no one has gotten angry at me for being a dick, that Xisuma bitch saved my life, and helped me calm down after a freakout- What the fuck? I don’t understand!” He cried, and Grian just let him talk. It hurt to hear, and made him wonder who hurt this kid.
His avian instincts weren’t helping either, it was not the time to be trying to take in an abandoned fledgling. It also did not help that between the ugly sobs the kid was making, he could hear the repressed chirps that struggled to pass through whatever barrier this kid had put up to stop any bird-like sounds.~

Summary
Tommy was fairly certain bedrock was unbreakable, and even if it wasn't, there definitely wouldn't be a vast, unending void underneath that is actually a portal to a perfect world.
Grian was fairly certain things were only supposed to go in the Boatem Hole, not come out, and even if something did, it would be diamonds or a reward for their sacrifices or something that wasn't a random teenage boy.
To be fair, neither of them had put too much thought into it before. Maybe that excuses the reaction they had when their expectations were exceeded.
