As far as bad ideas go, Ezreal isn’t sure if this is the best bad idea he ever had or the worst.
The idea on its own is not bad, it’s just that Ezreal’s options are quite limited. Currently, he faces two clear options:
(1.) He can go to his ex’s birthday party and be a mature adult that doesn’t mind showing up single.
Or, (2.) He can ask Kayn to pose as his boyfriend for one night.
One of those options is clearly worse than the other, but Ezreal for sure cannot pinpoint which one exactly is the bad one.

Summary
After Markus' wife passes away and the events with the Riders finish, Markus struggles with being a single father. He is doing as best as he can with what he has. He is going to therapy to control his anger issues, he is trying to be a good parent and cultivate his friendship with the group of weirdos that seemingly are not planning to leave him.
Markus is doing relatively well and trying to do better. Then, a young, pretty art teacher puts his life upside-down when he least expects it.

Summary
Meeting fans and sharing wholesome interactions is not something that happens to Kayn. That's something that happens to Ezreal, K'sante or Sett, sometimes even Aphelios or Yone, but never to Kayn.
It's fine. Kayn reaps what he sows. He started the bullshit of no autographs and no pictures. If no fan ever wants to meet him or ask for some, he only has himself to blame.
So when Ezreal is surrounded by fans and having a good time, Kayn goes to the side and lets his boyfriend have his fun. It doesn't bother Kayn, at all.

“Whitaker?” He startles so hard he nearly falls off the edge. It’s Robby. “What are you doing here?”
“Just sitting.”
“How about you scoot back a little? Sit behind the railing instead. It’s there for a reason, you know.” There’s something careful in his voice. Dennis hates that. Robby should still be angry with him, he should be screaming and cursing.

Robby started coming here a few years ago, initially looking for a place to blow off steam.
