Summary
Daeron knows that he fucked up the moment his Father drags him out of the inn and demands to know where the fuck is Aegon?
It scares him how much easier it is to lie than to tell the truth. But what is the truth in a world where the face of a stranger feels more familiar than even your own?
Among such uncertainties Daeron is sure only of one thing - on the grounds of Ashford Meadow the fates will collide and only one choice can make or break the future that sometimes flashes before his eyes.
And what if just this once he wants to try and make that choice? If only just so that the man with eyes as blue as the clearest sky would look at him in a way he sometimes do in his dreams?

Summary
Daeron will dream of the dragons return, Aerion is sure of it.
-
Aerion's voice had taken on a far away sound, like he was lost in daydreams even as he spoke. When he stepped towards the door, Daeron felt the panic rise and break through.
"Aerion, stop. Do not leave me down here. You can't do this, it is insanity. The dragons are gone. There is no way to bring them back unless you cross the sea and find some eggs yourself."
Clicking his tongue, Aerion paused, frowning over his shoulder. "You have such little faith in yourself, brother. But rest assured, I don't. I know you'll see the way. Why else would you have been given such a gift?"

"You're lost, prince."
"Am I?" Daeron peered around as if only now noticing where he'd ended up. "Doesn't seem so. I was looking for a tent, and here's a tent." He gestured broadly, nearly toppling himself in the process.
"This isn't your tent."
"No, mine's much finer." Daeron took another wobbling step closer. "Silk and silver thread and all manner of royal rubbish. Dreadfully boring."---
Daeron stumbles into Raymun's tent after Baelor's funeral, and Raymun takes care of him despite every reason not to.Bookmarked by Anghared

Summary
When tragedy tears through King's Landing and leaves both Prince Baelor and Prince Maekar shattered, Duncan finds himself drawn into their orbit. Guarding their children. Witnessing their grief. Wanting things a man like him should never want.
But in the ashes of the old world, new things are growing. In the hidden hours of the night, three men discover that love can be built from ruins—and that hearts, once broken, sometimes heal into shapes large enough to hold more than one.
But in the tunnels beneath the Red Keep, a secret waits. Three dragon eggs—cold, dormant, dead for a century—now guarded by a boy too young and too fierce to know that some things should stay buried.
Aerion will not let anyone else die. No matter what it wakes.Bookmarked by Anghared

Summary
Daeron was of the opinion that he needn’t have come with his uncle Rhaegel as they traveled to the Eyrie, but his father insisted that Daeron go, hoping the honor and chivalry so prevalent in the Vale will change his drunken, whoring ways.
What he gets is an attack on their entourage, being taken by one of the mountain clans, and sent off as an offering to the fire-witch’s pet.
Except the pet is no monster, the witch is a girl with startlingly familiar eyes, and Daeron finds himself faced with a dragon long thought to be dead.
(In which a modern girl is reborn as a descendant of Nettles.)

Summary
He's never been much of a knight, much of anything at all other than a drunk embarrassment to the Targaryen name, but still he reaches for his own sword, pulling it from it's sheath.
Daenys the Dreamer had a father who believed in her. Maybe here, maybe now in Ashford's muddy tournament grounds, surrounded by blood and fog, Daeron could guide his father into finally believing him.
Held tightly in his clammy, trembling palms, only inches away from his father, Daeron lifts his sword.
or; Daeron is granted the mercy of a clearer dream. It doesn't make things easier at Ashford, nor what comes after.

Summary
"The crown suits you, you know," said Ser Duncan over the cacophony, bringing Baelor back to himself. "Makes you look... you know. Kingly. Which I suppose makes sense, seeing as how you're the king now." A look of anguish crossed his face. "Oh, hells, I shouldn't be calling you 'you,' should I? It's 'Your Grace.' Please don't take—"
Baelor resisted the urge to rest his hand against the lad's back, as one might soothe a skittish horse. "No offense was taken, ser."
"Thank you," Ser Duncan said, then immediately amended, "thank Your Grace...ness. Seven fucks, I'm getting another drink." And he whirled away into the throng before Baelor could say a word.

Summary
Archmaester Vaegon chose death as his family and dynasty were fading to fire and blood. Nearly seven decades to his life, regrets and revelations made heartaches came to a hilt as the Dance of the Dragons raged. The dying of the dragons began long before— the deaths of his siblings all piling losses that had led them to the dawn of war.
He had went his own route in life, detached and separated from the den of a home he couldn't fit in to. He left his family name behind, but no distance nor denial could prepare him for the grief of watching the withering of his notorious, inescapable siblings as well as their legacy.
And inescapable, they were— arcanely so. When the death he chose does not consume him to darkness, and the path of light returns him to the days before he took his maester's vows, he is faced with his family again, and a chance at preventing their doom.

Summary
Contrary to popular belief, Maegelle Targaryen was not particularly pious.
Once, she had been — or at least, a version of her had. That Maegelle prayed faithfully until the day she died, and no prayer saved her.
She wakes again as a girl of ten, her mind burdened with knowledge of a future steeped in fire, grief, and quiet tragedies history would later dismiss as inevitable. Armed with memory rather than prophecy, Maegelle is trapped in a court where knowledge without power is its own kind of danger.
Promised to the Faith before she was old enough to choose, she had been removed from the board without question — and with her, any chance to intervene when her family needed her most. Determined not to let history repeat itself, Maegelle sets out to delay, resist, and ultimately challenge the path laid out for her.
She may not be able to stop every tragedy to come, but she can refuse to vanish quietly this time.
