Summary
The trouble with Luffy was that, for all his nonsensical chatter and blunders, he was a surprisingly smooth talker. He never aimed to praise or flatter, he simply told the truth. If Law looked like shit sometimes, Luffy never hesitated to tell him in no ambiguous terms. On the other hand, he never failed to tell Law nicer things, things that made him blush to the tips of his ears even after twenty years of married life.

Unable to mask it, Law just lets the laugh building up in his chest escape and shakes his head. “I guess it is.” Sliding one hand up to thread into Luffy’s hair, he pulls him close enough to breathe the same air. “It disagreed with how long I was gone too, turns out it doesn’t do well without you.”
“So give it to me.”

Summary
If Law didn’t know how useless Luffy is when it comes to making plans, he would be complimenting Luffy’s mastermind for always knowing just the right way or the right time to catch Law unguarded.
But Law knows that is not the case.
So, he curses at the universe. Or fate. Or whatever deity out there that is constantly plotting for Luffy to find Law.
(Or the one where Law learns a thing or two about love.)

Summary
Law had had trouble sleeping for as long as he could remember, and so he had been hoping that he could just avoid the issue with the Straw Hats. However their captain decides that he can help Law with his trouble sleeping in the same way he and his brothers used to sleep. Much to Law's chagrin, it actually does help.
The next morning, the Straw Hat crew's early risers find a rather surprising sight. Their captain showing up to breakfast carrying the Surgeon of Death like an oversized teddy bear.

Luffy is not proud of the fact that the first time he sees Torao in nine months, he walks into a door.
He is keenly aware that nine months is a long time. A lot of changes can occur within nine months. A lot can happen in between. He’s not so naive to believe that his former ally-now-rival-and-something-else-they-don’t-have-a-name-for-yet wouldn’t have changed in the nine months they haven’t seen each other.
And yet, he is still somehow caught off-guard.
Or:
Law decides to grow his hair out, and Luffy is insanely into it.

It’s only been 2 months since the fatigue and the nausea started but it already feels like a lifetime. Law dreads to know what the next 7 are going to be like.
Deadly disease, lead bullets, dismemberment, fourteen goddamn years of HRT and somehow, despite the ravaged biological hellscape that his body had become, it happened. Maybe it was because Strawhat Luffy truly was a freak of nature or maybe it was because the universe just has a truly incontrovertible sense of humor and Law remains its favorite punchline.

Hanahaki disease: an illness born of one-sided love that causes flowers to grow within the infected patient’s lungs. If left untreated it will suffocate the host and kill them. The growth can be removed through surgery, but it will also remove the feelings along with the flowers. It can be cured without side effects if the feelings are returned.

Usopp didn’t say anything, instead just pointing at Luffy’s soulmark.
He blinked down at it in amazement. It wasn’t black anymore. It was a deep blue, gleaming metallic under the harsh lights of the cabin.
“Oh! WOW!” he exclaimed. “When did that happen?”
“When did… Luffy, are you serious?”
“Why should I know?”
“…they said it to your face!”
“Oh yeah! Hmm…” Luffy paused, squinting harder at the words. “I don’t remember.”

Everyone says that soulmates are a special, wonderful thing, and Luffy believes that wholeheartedly. But no one seems able to describe what makes them so different from the many, many other people Luffy’s loved in his life.
And he was fine not knowing right up until his own words finally lit up. Now, not only doesn’t he understand what they stand for, but he doesn’t even remember who said them to him! And each passing day makes it less and less likely that he’ll find out.
Oh well, Robin says these things eventually sort themselves out. He can only hope that she’s right (she usually is).
