Summary
When Three received the HelpMe.file, nothing it saw in there convinced it of wanting to help this giant transport who tortures simulated versions of the SecUnit it wanted to rescue. But it knew that if it didn’t help, it would face consequences. So it helped, as best as it could, stayed as courteous and polite as it could, tried not to aggravate the ‘ART’, as it is called, and assisted in returning the SecUnit.
Once the situation is resolved, Three decides it wants to delete some of the knowledge it has – once it knows it will not spend much more time aboard the Perihelion.
Three deletes the information as well as it can. Some things, of course, stick. Some things aren’t easily forgotten. It thinks it may be better not to initiate a stasis while aboard the Perihelion.Three doesn’t remember going into stasis aboard the Perihelion.

“Of all people on the force, I have the best aim.”
There's a second in which Hank nearly looks offended, left eye twitching. “Maybe not anymore.”
The sentence sears itself into Connor's mind.
He doesn't hear Hank's remark about how weirdly sharp Nines' teeth had looked, and his addition that he might have just imagined that. Instead he looks through the manuals he had found again, searching for closer information on ranged shooting abilities.
(The DPD starts employing a new android post-revolution, and Connor does not know how to feel about it.)

“SecUnits don’t sulk. That would trigger punishment from the governor module.” I attach some memory files of what exactly that felt like. The pause before it answered expanded endlessly, especially for a bot as big as this one. Our previous conversation barely spans two minutes. Now, it is unresponsive for five, and my organics begin dumping more itchy hormones.
You are not a SecUnit. This data does not match your function.
“I was one until seven cycles ago.”

(Perihelion is curiously confused by the rogue ComfortUnit that says it used to be a SecUnit until recently, and offers help. This time, it expects data in return. - a rewrite of AC in the ComfortUnit!au, but ART is more than just a bit of an asshole.)Series

"Constructs have coding so deep and fundamental, that I think it must be similar to what humans call instinct. And the company had gone in that deep when fucking me over, just to be thorough. I’ve spent months trying to unfuck my brain, in between everything else, and I’m beginning to think it’s just not possible."
This is another take on "Murderbot was rebuilt by the company as a ComfortUnit at the end of "All Systems Red" before being handed over to Dr. Mensah." This story takes place after "Exit Strategy" and before "Network Effect." (I reserve the right to fine-tune some details after "Fugitive Telemetry" comes out, but probably I won't.)

I will not be owned by you, Elliot repeats, again and again, to himself. He and Mr Robot are locked in a staring contest while seconds pass. Sweat and worse things stick to Elliot’s already-sickish skin. If you can hear Elliot’s frantic thoughts, Mr Robot can too. Hell, he answers him sometimes doesn’t he?
It’s all such a mess.
(While Elliot lives with his mother, he attempts to get rid of Mr Robot with drugs. Mr Robot is not pleased.)

Summary
If this entire mess wasn’t about him personally, Jaskier would love to write a song on it. From an outsider’s perspective, and with some nicely interwoven wording, the story of a mysterious flower-breathing disease would catch on nicely in some courts, he is sure. The irony of dandelions growing in his chest isn’t lost on him, and he is convinced that there has to be some deeper meaning behind all of this.
...in which Jaskier‘s love for Geralt becomes a threat for himself, and Geralt has to decide whether the ends justify the means.
