Summary
Four years have passed since Blair's dissertation was made public and upsetting a lot of folks in nearly every field sentinels are involved in. But Jim would not reproduce his phenomenal range and control for officials forcing Blair to call himself a fraud. Having left Rainier U and Cascade under a cloud of suspicion he's now bittersweetly amused by it all and is working as a gas station attendant. He's actually doing just fine, even successful in rebuilding his life. Until Jim shows up trying to heal from injuries he refuses to talk about and with one request: Temporary shelter. Please.
Blair doesn’t know how to react to this older Jim with his iron discipline and eerily patient, apologetic ways...
A/N August 2013: Nothing new is being written because this has become a massive behind-the-scene editing project. On the other hand there is a couple of new chapters that will be added at the same time as the edits are uploaded.

The thing is…Seb is so good. He’s so flipping good. Chris tries to maintain his boundaries – but it’s not like he’s the only one who notices. And after a hard day of filming, Sebastian will smile calmly whenever anyone checks in on him.
He doesn’t even complain after the fucking wall hadn’t been padded properly (Chris’d been furious and had stepped out for minute, snapped open a can of Coke and let it fizz in his mouth instead of the words he’d wanted to say – things like come here, Seb and who the fuck let this happen and we’re taking the rest of the day off and I’m feeding this gorgeous sub juice in bed).

Before Bucky was born, the Moon never appeared above their city. All the scientists in the world couldn’t figure out why. There was no explanation, except for what the church had. The Moon didn’t want to be seen here, by them.
When Bucky was born, for the first time in their city’s history, they had a full moon.

"You look like him," Bucky says. No prompting, no nothing. He just speaks, like this is a thing he does.
"What?" Steve asks. He didn’t really hear it, too stunned by the fact that words were coming out of Bucky’s mouth to understand their meaning.
"You look like him. So did Pierce." His voice is soft, gravelly from disuse. "Is that why they picked you?"
Steve’s heart plunges like an elevator with the cables cut. “Buck, it is me.”
