Summary

In the moment of quiet that follows, I see that his gaze has become rather fond. Then, he speaks again: “Look at you, telling exotic stories with your wine, and your fruit, and your bare feet on the grass. You’re a real hedonist, aren’t you?”
“What do you mean?”
“Exactly that. You’re a pleasure seeker.”
I take my last bite of apple and chew it slowly, setting the core beside me and raising my hand to my mouth to swallow before I reply, meeting his eyes; “Perhaps I am. And why not? Pleasure’s an honest thing, isn’t it? Aren’t you a hedonist?”
He laughs, though I catch something almost wistful in his expression, just for a second.
“Is that not obvious?”
Is it? I look at him. And I feel my mouth becoming sultry, my heart growing bolder, the longer that I do.
“To pleasure, then,” I say, raising my cup to my lips, and my wrist to Astarion. It's a toast, and a dare, and a question I must know the answer to.

This is a modern setting AU of the characters of Baldur's Gate 3 where they're friends and get together to play D&D.
It's mostly my ideas about how I think their lives could be in a modern setting and their relationships and hardships and how this is related to their D&D characters (Or their BG3 original characters). There will be drinking, drug use, some minor references to sexual abuse and/or abuse of a minor, racism, religion/cult as abuse and others. I will approach these topics the best I can and I will keep updating the tags if needed, I will also put warnings in each chapter at the beginning.
There will be a lot of chapters with different lengths, it's mostly a collection of stories of their daily lives, so please keep that into consideration.
English is not my first language so I may have some mistakes, I'm so sorry beforehand.

Through these adventures she meets a vampire spawn with enough sarcasm to melt the faces of even the worst of Calishite merchant princes. Abrasive, sassy, pragmatic and a mind for no nonsense our heroine sets out with a band of companions and tries to keep the vampire at arms length, while staying alive and doing some good in the process.
