Tim Bradford, recently divorced, was having a hard time falling in love again. His best friend Angela Lopez has tried to set him up but he doesn't budge. While on Patrol with Jackson, Tim gets injured on a call. When the paramedics arrived, Tim couldn't believe his eyes. He spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, even more beautiful than his ex. They engaged in conversation as she patched him up. They talked and got to know each other a little bit. But little did they know, that interaction would change their lives for the better.

Not being able to come up with a decision on her own, she turns to the person that she trusts the most, Tim Bradford. After coming up with a decision, Lucy packs up her bags and heads back home to Los Angeles. What she doesn’t know is that this would be the best decision of her entire life.

Jackson West was beaten to death, and Lucy finds out near the end of shift. Tim, Angela, and Nyla check in on her, and realized that he was more then just a friend to her, but more like family, even to Tamara. Jackson finally gets the peace and justice he wanted when he first started riding with Doug.
Everyone moves on, but never forgets him, since he is watching over them, all of them.

Tim prided himself on restraint, but there was no denying that riding beside his hot little Boot for six months had tested him. Every day she came in with her pretty mouth and thick thighs, and he was expected to keep his hands to himself. He did, of course, he always did… but the temptation was constant, a through line that underpinned all of their interactions. He wasn’t ignorant to the way she looked at him, either, more than once catching her eyes on his arms, his pecs, and a few times, his crotch. The want was mutual, obvious, and unspoken, and they’d been caught in heated gazes that qualified as eye-fucks enough times that Lopez had started teasing him for it. It was harmless, he maintained; they’d never touched each other, and they never would for as long as he trained her. “Heated gazes” or not, Tim Bradford always toed the line.
Then they got the missile alert.

Off days. Practically foreign to Tim Bradford. He has not a clue what do to with them. They're so.... still. Silent. To him, it's dreadful. He's not good at being lazy, or really resting at all. He grows antsy quick alone with his thoughts and borderline hyperactivity. He's not one to admit many things, either, but he's willing to maybe admit to himself that he doesn't like that stillness.
But, who says you can't learn a thing or two about stillness on a day off?
