2. the production of a coating of myelin around an axonShang Qinghua (Airplane) and Shen Qingqiu (Jiu) and captured while on a mission. Things go wrong, and Shen Qingqiu watches with horror as his martial brother becomes something other. Not demonic or even heavenly, but certainty filled with power. Shen Qingqiu can do nothing to stop the thing from wiping the small demon clan from existence, nor can he stop the being from touching his cheekbone and rendering him helpless. He does not know what it wants from him, but the way it strokes his skin and coos at him can mean nothing good.
Or: With Sang Qinghua having full author access unlocked temporarily, he wants to do right by his poor little Black Jade, and so he uses his limited time and powers to try and nudge Shen Qingqiu onto a more virtuous path. It isn't easy with how stubborn his little scum villain is, but even if none of his words get through to the man, straightening out his meridians and covering them with a myelin-like sheath would certainly be enough to change something. Even if it doesn't get the man his happy ending, Xiang Fei will have tried.

Mobei-Jun does not speak human. He does not speak human even a little bit, as Shang Qinghua has tested by saying absolutely unholy filthy things to him that should have gotten him instantly murdered, but instead only earns him a blank, annoyed stare.
“My king, please, it’s only water. It’s unpoisoned, see? See, I’ll drink some. Ahh, tasty, safe water! Please, drink it? You’re sweating so much, you’re, like, melting.” He helps Mobei-Jun drink the water. “... God I really want to lick the sweat off your neck.”
Mobei-Jun does not react. Ahaha, this is kind of fun. Except for all the ways that it’s so fucking inconvenient.

Fenton slumped to the side, landing against Kwan’s shoulder. Kwan went stiff, holding himself perfectly still as Fenton settled bonelessly against him with a happy sigh.
And then the purring started.
There was a small pause, and then Tyler said, “So I guess the GIW spray did something after all.”
“Did they roofie him?!” Star hissed angrily, leaning across the center aisle of the bus to get a better view of Fenton.
“Aww, he sounds like a happy cat,” Bridget cooed at Fenton from her spot next to Paulina.
“Yeah, I don’t think he’s roofied. It's more like they cat-nipped him,” Dale suggested, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.
“So their ghost spray is actually ghost-nip?”
“Looks like.”
Dash was not expecting today to be anything out of the ordinary, but that was before the class gets sprayed by a new experimental ghost-repellent concoction by the Guys in White on their way to their field trip. The spray doesn't actually seem all that great at repelling ghosts, but it does seem to be having some odd effects on Danny as the morning goes on...
