The fortune is a small thing, just eight simple words on a tiny slip of paper. Completely inconsequential. Levi knows full well that fortune cookies are a scam and that one would have to be extremely naive to take anything coming from a biscuit seriously.
Why, then, do the words seem to pull his thoughts in a direction he can't control — always towards the sea, with the irrational hope of finding something, or someone, he didn't even know he was missing?

Summary
Heartbreak and loneliness are powerful emotions – so powerful in fact that Rey gets a headache just from looking at Finn. Her friend is too dumb to see what’s right in front of him, but Rey isn’t, and she is not about to let his moping ruin her break from training.
Basically, Finn and Poe are idiots, and Rey has to spell everything out for them.
