Damian frowned, visibly confused. But before he could respond, Superboy clarified, “No, not him.” He scrunched his nose slightly, as if the idea amused him. “Red Robin.”
“Why?” Batman’s tone was guarded, but there was a flicker of something else—curiosity? Hesitation?
Superboy gave him a look, part confusion and part disbelief. “Because he’s an expert on the occult? You know, all things supernatural?”
“Red Robin?” Batman repeated, his voice low with something like disbelief.

If Bruce wasn't so busy investigating the Red Hood, he might have realised that, while Jack Drake is in a coma and Tim is grounded from patrol, Drake Industries goes broke. Overnight, the Drakes lose everything, leaving Tim without a cent to his name.
Jason, meanwhile, cannot believe that the Bats haven't noticed yet that something is obviously wrong with the Replacement.

It’s weird, being poor. At the moment, Tim has precisely eleven dollars to his name. Drake Industries, gone. Their assets, gone. His trust fund, being used to pay for his father’s hospital bills. The house is gone, too. That's okay. Tim is okay. Sometimes, though, he lies awake at night, and he can’t help but wonder. Does Bruce know? He definitely doesn’t, obviously. But, does he?

Summary
Tim returns to where Bruce is slumped against the hard stone wall. The cave they’ve found themselves in is small, ten paces across at most, and the ceiling barely tall enough for Bruce to stand upright. Not that he will be doing that any time soon.
“How’s the pain?” Tim asks, taking a knee beside him to check on the wound. His stomach turns at the sight of the gash; he’s always been more squeamish than his predecessors.
Bruce just shakes his head. “How are we on water?”
“We’ll be good for a day or two if we’re careful.” Probably less, since he’ll have to use some of it to clean the wound intermittently. The biggest problem here is staving off the infection in Bruce’s leg until rescue comes. Gotham doesn’t need Robin alive as much as it does Batman.
