Silently, Hilda drew her lotioned hands in circles along the exposed skin at the nape of Dorothea’s neck, bringing on a sensation simultaneously cool and hot, and immediately soothing. It seeded tingles across her muscles, and Dorothea stifled a light whine as Hilda’s fingers continued to work, spending a few more seconds at her neck before running along the slope of her shoulder. “You are… surprisingly good at that,” Dorothea said.
Something between a laugh and a grunt escaped Hilda’s lips, mildly offended. “Surprisingly?” she asked. Before any apology could be offered, she shook her head and giggled. “No, it’s understandable,” Hilda continued, her face moving lower, closer as she began to focus on a particularly tight spot. “But I can be quite accommodating when I’m properly motivated,” she said, voice a teasing whisper. The kind Dorothea might normally employ.
After aiding House Goneril at the border, Dorothea and Hilda enjoy some well-deserved levity before returning to Garreg Mach.
