Another night. Zoro was starting to begrudgingly accept the fact that if the new cook got up in the night, he'd make the climb to the crowsnest, and there didn't seem to be much that Zoro could do about it. At least he got his snacks delivered.
Zoro likes taking the night watch. The new cook is a bad sleeper and seems set on disturbing Zoro's solitude. Zoro is annoyed, until he isn't, and each successive visit from the cook starts to change things between them.

Jayce’s heart stops. It lurches to a halt just as the air is taken right out of his lungs. There’s no way he just said that, right? He must have misheard. Without moving a muscle, he whispers, “You—what?”
Viktor lifts his head to look at his face. The tone of his voice is soft and gentle when he speaks again, as if he’s afraid that his words will scare Jayce off. “I said… I really wanted to kiss you.”

A crease in his brow appears as he twists and turns in front of the mirror, searching for imperfections that Zoro can't even begin to find. The cook tugs at his sleeves, adjusts his lapels, kicks his legs gently to shift his pant-legs to lay differently. And most damningly, Sanji’s mouth ultimately pulls into a firm line at something he finds in his reflection, something inherent there that Zoro knows isn’t as easy to alter as adjusting a cufflink or retying his tie.
